I am away from glory

To catch hold of lory

Flying high in the story

I am away from glory

Travelling in the lorry

In the love of Morry!

Lory- A small parrot of Australia and Indonesia

Sometimes you just want to pen down something light and lyrical which one may enjoy, reading through the tunes of words.

Poetry published in the Pendemic Journal, Ireland: Time

Pendemic Journal is not a literary magazine. They are a group of writers that met at the John Hewitt International Summer School in Armagh in July 2019. Poetry published in Indian Periodical- ‘Armpit’

I am happy to share that my poem ‘Armpit’ is featured in Indian Periodical. I am so  thankful to the entire team for considering and publishing my work.

This piece of work reveals the hypocrisy of our society. One should take pride in one’s body and soul.  Be happy with what you have.

Armpit!

Underneath the armpit
this single strand of axillary hair
gives major goals
to the body and soul,
the self is highly
subjective in the meantime.

Fear!

“Fear has its chances of winning

during the lockdown; to embrace the

reality spreading in the air,

defeating the number is required

to overcome this stubborn fear.”

This can be paraphrased as- “Fear has its chances of winning during the lockdown; to overcome this stubborn fear, it is required to defeat the number and to embrace the reality being spread all over.”

HIS ROOM

I was still in his room

Waiting and grinning

All day to make a foam

Of love which is blushing

Like the blushing blossoms. Continue reading “My poem” HIS ROOM” published by Indian Periodical”

Lock me down!!

Lock me down at the
seashore ; carry me to
the caves of destiny.

Lock me down in the darkness
of the wild, to sink into the
gloomy shades of mine.

Lock me down on the mountains,
to catch hold of the heights unknown.

Lock me down in the ocean,
to create the history of motion.

Lock me down in the dilemma
of life, to argue with the hopes of life.

Lock me down in the room,
to disagree and to agree
with the first draft of mine.

Lock me down in the memories
of thine, to comprehend the existing
version of mine.

Lock me down between the lines,
to be searched with a desire known,
understood only by some!!!

Skeptical!

I am skeptical
of the reasons
of the answers
of the questions
of myself.

Things in question

are to be subjective,

to be retrospective

in the bloomy life.

He is oblivious

in the vacation of time,

to be lost

in the content

of mine.

My actions defy

inner combat,

the power relies

on the self

acknowledgement

of Shine.

I am skeptical

of the reasons

of the answers

of the questions

of myself!!!
